Relax Equine Massage Therapy

What is massage

Massage is the practice of applying structured or unstrurctured pressure, tension, motion, vibration, manually or with mechanical aids, to the soft tissues of the equines body, including the muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments, joint and lymph nodes, lymphatic vessels to achieve a beneficial responses.

The massage is a gentle massage that isn’t like a physio, ostia, chiro, or sports massage that can be quite harsh and invasive, and some practitioners love the use of massage guns, pads, and lasers but that’s not me. The massage technique I do is done gently with my hands and energy. The treatment starts with a bladder Mardian and ends with a lymphatic drainage for your horse. Now this type of massage is perfect for seniors as it is such a light and gentle massage although the horse may not be in work the massage is great just for maintenance and it helps to keep the muscles in good condition, helps with blood circulation and immune support.
